一、there be 基本句式

1.肯定式

There is a picture on the wall.墻上有一幅畫。

There are 24 hours in a day.一天有24小時。

【提示】 there+be的謂語動詞遵循“就近一致”原則。

There is a boy and two girls in the room.（a boy 決定謂語用is）

There are two boys and a girl in the room.（two boy 決定謂語用are）

2.否定式

There are not any fairies in the world.世上沒有神仙。

There was not an underground here before.從前這里沒有地鐵。

3.疑問式

Is there any water in your bottle？ 你的瓶里有水嗎？

What’s there in your pocket？ 你口袋里裝的是什么？
