The old slogan is 'a diamond is forever', but diamond engagement ring trends have certainly changed over the years.While the round diamond solitaire has 'always maintained the number one position' on the popularity charts, Mode.com notes that other styles have come and gone over the past century, and the way rocks are showcased has shifted, too.

老話說(shuō)得好“鉆石恒久遠(yuǎn)”，但是鉆石訂婚戒指的流行趨勢(shì)在過(guò)去的幾十年里確實(shí)經(jīng)歷了很多變化。而在人氣排行榜上，圓形的單顆鉆石一直霸占著第一的位子。Mode.com(網(wǎng)站)注意到在過(guò)去的一個(gè)世紀(jì)里，其他風(fēng)格的鉆石也出現(xiàn)過(guò)，但是很快就不流行了，而且鉆石的展示方式也有所不同。
