Dove Shack樂隊的說唱歌手C-Knight死亡，享年52歲

Rapper C-Knight, known as a member of Dove Shack, has died. He was 52.

A family member told TMZ the rapper died on Tuesday after being taken off life support.

C-Knight, whose real name was Arnez Blount, was admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke on Oct. 18.

On Sunday, C-Knight’s father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr., told TMZ, that the rapper’s stroke was caused by complications from diabetes. At the time, Blount’s father said that C-Knight was in an unresponsive state and doctors were monitoring his brain activity.

C-Knight suffered from a stroke while receiving dialysis to treat his diabetes, reports TMZ. He then went into cardiac arrest but was resuscitated and placed on life support.

Following the death of C-Knight, former collaborator, Bo-Roc paid tribute to the late rapper on Instagram.

“This is like f---ing nightmare I swear this s--- hurt different and I don't want to talk about s--- to nobody so please just let me be and pray for us…,” wrote Bo-Roc. “On my soul I love you bro and I already don't know what the f--- to do wit u being gone....”

He is survived by his father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr.

The rapper was best known for his role in the hip-hop group, Dove Shack. The group consisted of C-Knight, Bo-Roc, and 2Scoops. Dove Shack made their debut on rapper Warren G’s 1994 album Regulate… G Funk Era.

Over a decade later, the group released their second album, Reality Has Got Me Tied Up, in 2006. The Long Beach-based group featured rapper Nate Dogg on the sophomore album. Dove Shack was celebrated for having a large part in cultivating the West Coast G-Funk throughout the 1990s.
