If Cher’s boyfriend, Alexander Edwards, could turn back time, he'd maybe want to fix one of the texts he sent the legendary diva.

The 77-year-old "Believe" singer revealed that she was initially "pissed off" about the music executive’s decision to call her "babyyy" — with a bold three Ys at the end! — before their romance had blossomed.

"I left to go to Switzerland and he texted me and he said, 'Where are you going?'" she recalled while visiting Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date series on Friday. "And I said, 'I'm going to Switzerland. I'm a little tired.' And then he wrote me, 'Well, get some rest, babyyy,' with three Ys. And I went, 'He doesn’t know me well enough to put three Ys on baby!'"

Thankfully, Edwards was able to rectify the situation and get the couple back on track. Still, Cher said, "I was kind of pissed off," adding, "and then he just started texting me."

"I told my friends: Don't fall in love with a younger man — we're too old — and don't ever fall in love by text," she said. "There goes that theory."

While texting etiquette isn't always a deal-breaker in a relationship, Cher later revealed that bad kissing is. "If they can't kiss, it's over," she declared. "I'm not kidding!"
