A makerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, hackerspace or hackspace) is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and collaborate.

創(chuàng)客空間指的是社區(qū)化運(yùn)營的工作空間，在這里，有共同興趣的人們(通常是對電腦、機(jī)械、技術(shù)、科學(xué)、數(shù)字藝術(shù)活電子技術(shù))可以聚會，社交，展開合作。

Makerspaces, hackerspaces, and fab labs are popping up left and right both in and out of New York. They’re a part of the growing maker movement, which encourages people to invent and create.
