China remains committed to its opening-up strategy and will advance high-quality cooperation in building the Belt and Road, strive to uphold and improve the multilateral trading system and promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, the document adopted at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee said.

We must uphold the multilateral trading system, build an open world economy, work toward more institutional arrangements on trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and make full use of such cooperation and sharing platforms as the China International Import Expo to pursue greater economic openness, exchange and integration in our region.
