各位朋友好，歡迎您收聽“旅游業(yè)英語”第八講，我是澳洲廣播電臺中文部節(jié)目主持人馬健媛。在第七課中，我們學(xué)習(xí)了如何詢問客人是否有任何問題需要幫助以及在出現(xiàn)失誤的時候如何道歉。在這一課中，我們要學(xué)習(xí)怎樣詢問客人的需求及如何向客人解釋帳單的明細帳。在我們繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)“在餐館中”新的對話之前，讓我們重溫一下“在餐館中”的第一部分的對話。
Jean: Your Crispy Fish and …… your Garlic Chicken and vegetables.
Mona: Oh dear.
Jean: Is there a problem?
Mona: There seems to be some mistake. I asked for no chillies. Thischicken has chillies.
Jean: Oh, yes. I see. I’m sorry. I’ll get you another one straight away.
Jean: There was a slight mix up in the kitchen. We’re very busy
tonight. Here is your Garlic Chicken without the chillies. I apologise for any inconvenience.
Mona: No worries.
Jean: Would you like anything else to drink?
Mona: No, thanks.
Jack: I’m right, thank you.

請注意，有些時候客人會對帳單提出疑問。造成這種局面的原因可能是因為語言不通，或者是客人不了解帳單的列表方式。遇到這樣的情況，通常的處理方式就是向客人解釋為什么收費中會多出了一些款項，或者逐個地向客人解釋每道菜的收費。有時候客人可能也會忘記自己點過的菜呢?，F(xiàn)在讓我們來聽聽琴是如何就帳單中多出來的收費向客人做解釋的。
