Jet-lag
Mary: Hi, Colin. How are you feeling today?
Colin: Oh, I feel OK but I'm still very dizzy .
Mary: It's probably jet lag . It can cause chaos of internal clock . You just crossed several time zones .
Colin: I think so. One minute I have headache , and next minute I have tinnitus .
Mary: What's the time difference between Beijing and Vancouver?
Colin: 16 hours. Vancouver is 16 hours backward .
Mary: Are we losing or gaining a day on the way to Canada?
Colin: We are gaining a day .
Mary: Does it mean that we are departing from Beijing and arriving in Vancouver on the same day?
Colin: That's correct. So I have two birthdays.
Mary: Oh, your birthday is on this weekend .
Colin: Yeah, What time is on here?
Mary: 5 o'clock. You need to set your watch again.
