"Nix on swiping anything," suggested John Poldowski, solemnly.

"Very good," said Stuart. "Good law".

“很好，”斯圖亞特說(shuō)。好法律。

"Never poison anything but rats," said Anthony Brendisi.

“不要毒死任何東西，除非大老鼠，”安東尼.布倫迪西說(shuō)。

"That's no good," said Stuart.

“那不好，”斯圖亞特說(shuō)。

It's unfair to rats.

這對(duì)大老鼠不公平。

A law has to be fair to everybody.

一條法律應(yīng)該對(duì)每個(gè)人都公平。

Anthony looked sulky.

安東尼.布倫迪西看起來(lái)很惱火。

"But rats are unfair to us," he said.

“但是大老鼠對(duì)我們也不公平，”他說(shuō)。

Rats are objectionable.

大老鼠讓人討厭。

"I know they are," said Stuart.

“我知道，”斯圖亞特說(shuō)。

But from a rat's point of view, poison is objectionable.

A Chairman has to see all sides to a problem.

"Have you got a rat's point of view?" asked Anthony.

You look a little like a rat.

"No," replied Stuart, "I have more the point of view of a mouse, which is very different.

I see things whole.

It's obvious to me that rats are underprivileged.
