Xiong Bingqi, deputy director of the 21st Century Education Research Institute, an education think tank, said the surge was partly due to a newly implemented policy requiring people who apply forpart-time postgraduate programs to take the exam.
過去,報考非全日制研究生者無須參加全國碩士研究生統(tǒng)一入學考試(take the national entrance examination for postgraduates),他們只需要提交指定文件并通過大學組織的面試(submit required documents and pass interviews organized by universities)即可。
調查發(fā)現(xiàn),35%的人選擇考研是為了增強自己在就業(yè)市場上的競爭力(add to their competitiveness in the job market),31%的人是為了提升自己的學術研究能力(improve their academic research ability)。
