什么是職場“粘地板”？

Sticky floor refers to unofficial business practices that keep workers in low-paying jobs that offer little chance for personal advancement. Like glass ceiling, sticky floor is a metaphor for the occupational frustrations of workers.

“粘地板”指的是一種不正規(guī)的商業(yè)慣例，讓員工長年累月地拿著很低的薪水而又不給其任何晉升機會。就像“玻璃天花板”一樣，“粘地板”是對員工職場挫敗的一種比喻。

Many workers caught on the “sticky floor” are women, women who don’t have a voice, who are too busy trying to balance their family life with jobs and low incomes, who have become industrial fodder.

許多被“粘”在“地板”上的員工都是女性，那些沒有發(fā)言權、掙扎著平衡家庭生活和低收入工作的女性，那些已經(jīng)淪為“工業(yè)飼料”的女性。
