湖北省武漢市將試點(diǎn)建立生物虹膜識(shí)別數(shù)據(jù)庫，不遠(yuǎn)的未來，虹膜識(shí)別技術(shù)或?qū)⒃诖驌艄召u兒童行動(dòng)中發(fā)揮作用。

The program, proposed by iris recognition technology company EyeSmart, will establish 100 data collection spots in the city. Parents can take their children to the spots to have their iris scanned. If a child who is registered on the database goes missing and is found, an iris scan will be able to quickly determine his or her identity, much faster than DNA identification.

該項(xiàng)目由虹膜識(shí)別技術(shù)公司釋碼大華科技有限公司提出，將在武漢建立100個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)采集點(diǎn)。家長可以帶著孩子到采集點(diǎn)掃描采集虹膜數(shù)據(jù)。在數(shù)據(jù)庫中有記錄的孩子走失被找回后，掃描虹膜便可迅速確定其身份，比DNA身份核驗(yàn)更加快捷。

虹膜(iris)是位于黑色瞳孔和白色鞏膜之間的圓環(huán)狀部分(thin, circular structure)，一個(gè)人的虹膜在出生18個(gè)月后便發(fā)育成型，不再改變。虹膜識(shí)別技術(shù)(iris recognition technology)便是利用虹膜的不變性，通過圖形識(shí)別技術(shù)(pattern-recognition techniques)對(duì)人眼中的虹膜圖像進(jìn)行對(duì)比識(shí)別。虹膜識(shí)別技術(shù)與相應(yīng)的算法結(jié)合后，可以到達(dá)十分優(yōu)異的準(zhǔn)確度。

目前常見的生物識(shí)別技術(shù)(biometric identification technology)包括：指紋識(shí)別(fingerprint identification)、聲音識(shí)別(voice identification)、面部識(shí)別(facial recognition)、掌紋識(shí)別(palm print idenfication)、視網(wǎng)膜識(shí)別(retina recognition)以及虹膜識(shí)別(iris recognition)。

今年5月，公安部兒童失蹤信息緊急發(fā)布平臺(tái)(emergency response system)上線。全國各地公安機(jī)關(guān)在接到兒童失蹤報(bào)警后，通過這一平臺(tái)及時(shí)上報(bào)信息，相關(guān)信息會(huì)在第一時(shí)間通過“公安部兒童失蹤信息緊急發(fā)布平臺(tái)”官方微博等新媒體、高德地圖等移動(dòng)應(yīng)用對(duì)公眾發(fā)布，同時(shí)通過相應(yīng)渠道自動(dòng)推送到兒童失蹤地周邊的相關(guān)人群，收到推送的用戶可撥打110或者信息中的打拐民警電話提供線索。
