　　Duck和drake都是鴨子。Play duck and drake原來是指一種游戲：在河邊撿起小石子把它們一個個扔到水面上，看是否能激起水漂，這樣做就會驚起河里的鴨子們。而游戲玩得高興就難以罷手，直到河邊的小石頭扔得差不多了才停下來，所以現(xiàn)在用這個短語來形容一個人花錢像扔石頭隨意和無節(jié)制，即為揮霍無度的意思。
