[正] Their eyes met, and they fell in love with each other ever since.

注：“目光”不能用 eyesight 表達(dá)，因?yàn)?eyesight 只能指“視力”，如：If you eat a lot of fish, you can have good eyesight(多吃魚(yú)會(huì)使你的視力好)。而 eye 不僅表示“視力”，還可以指“眼光”。如：a good eye for distance(能看很遠(yuǎn)的好視力)和 She met his eye across the room(隔著房間，她與他的目光相遇了)。
