This earth-shaking revolutionary feat is a magnificent epic written by the CPC and the Red Army and a towering monument in the process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

長(zhǎng)征的勝利，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨人理想的勝利，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨人信念的勝利。“風(fēng)雨浸衣骨更硬，野菜充饑志越堅(jiān);官兵一致同甘苦，革命理想高于天。”在風(fēng)雨如磐的長(zhǎng)征路上，崇高的理想，堅(jiān)定的信念，激勵(lì)和指引著紅軍一路向前。在紅一方面軍二萬五千里的征途上，平均每300米就有一名紅軍犧牲。長(zhǎng)征這條紅飄帶，是無數(shù)紅軍的鮮血染成的。艱難可以摧殘人的肉體，死亡可以?shī)Z走人的生命，但沒有任何力量能夠動(dòng)搖中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨人的理想信念。

The victory of the Long March was the triumph of the CPC members' ideals and faith. "The freezing wind and rainwater penetrating through clothes makes us even tougher, some wild greens that barely ease hunger only make our will stronger, our soldiers and officials go through the bitterness together, because our revolutionary ideals are higher." On the difficult road of the Long March,the ideal and firm faith encouraged and guided the Red Army to march forward. During the 25,000-li journey of the First Front Red Army, one Red Army soldier sacrificed every 300 meters. This road is like a long ribbon reddened by the blood of numerous martyrs. Difficulties can destroy their bodies, death can take their lives, but nothing can shake the ideal and faith of the CPC members.

The Long March was a great expedition that blazed new trails. The victory of the Long March was that of orientation and road. The Long March constituted not only of defeating the enemy to win victories and achieve strategic aims, but also the process of exploring realities, developing theories and finding revolutionary path. In the face of entangled dangerous situation, our Party displayed a great fearless spirit that characterized a great creation and rebirth through blood and fire, leading our revolutionary path to victory.

Over the past 80 years, there have been numerous coverages and studies on the Red Army's Long March as well as visits retracing the routes of the expedition. More and more people in the international community believe that the Red Army's Long March was one of the major events that impacted the most on the course of the 20th century and an epic which was full of ideals and spirit of dedication and composed through will power and courage. The Long March that unleashed powerful heartbeating force, spanning time and space and across nations. It is indeed a great epic that represents unwavering efforts of mankind in seeking truth and illumination.

偉大長(zhǎng)征精神，就是把全國(guó)人民和中華民族的根本利益看得高于一切，堅(jiān)定革命的理想和信念，堅(jiān)信正義事業(yè)必然勝利的精神;就是為了救國(guó)救民，不怕任何艱難險(xiǎn)阻，不惜付出一切犧牲的精神;就是堅(jiān)持獨(dú)立自主、實(shí)事求是，一切從實(shí)際出發(fā)的精神;就是顧全大局、嚴(yán)守紀(jì)律、緊密團(tuán)結(jié)的精神;就是緊緊依靠人民群眾，同人民群眾生死相依、患難與共、艱苦奮斗的精神。

The great Long March spirit represents efforts to place the fundamental interests of the people throughout the whole nation above all others, consolidate revolutionary ideals and faith, and firmly believe that a just cause will surely prevail. To achieve national salvation, we should not be afraid of any difficulties and obstacles, but uphold the spirit of sacrifice, independence and self-reliance, seeking truth from facts, proceeding from reality everything we do, taking into account the interests of the whole, strictly abiding by discipline, and being united. We should firmly rely on the masses, go through thick and thin together with them, and pursue hard work and plain living.

History is consistently advancing forward. If we want to arrive at the ideal, we have to march on the set path continuously. Different generations have different Long March journeys, they should well take their own road. Today, the Long March for us is to achieve the "Two Centenary Goals" as well as the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

On the way of new Long March, we must keep firm on our ideal no matter how time changes or how conditions change. We should always trust the people, closely depend on them, and fully arouse the vast number of people's initiative and creativity, so that we can collect the united and boundless strength.

"Water can carry a boat, it can also overturn it." We must remember that. We must remember what it tells us that at all times the people are the sky above our head, they are also the ground beneath our feet. The success of the Long March shows us that to stand on the test of time, a political party must always stay ahead of the times, go with the flow of history, scientifically lay out plans, and take the strategic initiative to realize our strategic goals.
