　　(二)有些英語被動式句子中的動詞，可以譯成"受(遭)到……+名詞"、"予(加)以+名詞"這類結構。

　　1) Snow was treated very shabbily by the U. S. Press and officialdom during this period, victimized for his views.

　　在這期間，斯諾受到了美國新聞界和政界極不公正的對待，由于他的觀點，他受到了迫害。

　　2) Throw a tennis ball on the floor. The ball bounces back. In the same way, when light falls on certain things it bounces back. When this happens, the light is said to be reflected.

　　將網(wǎng)球扔到地板上，球會彈回來。同樣，光照到某些物體上時也會彈回來。這種情況叫做光受到反射。

　　3) Satellites, however, must be closely watched, for they are constantly being tugged at by the gravitational attraction of the sun, moon and earth.

　　由于經(jīng)常受到太陽、月亮以及地球引力的影響，衛(wèi)星活動必須加以密切的觀察。

　　4) Skirmishes between the Greek and Turkish Cypriots were silently witnessed, as was the heavy fighting between Lebanese troops and Muslem forces in 1958.
