China News Service: President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the fourth China International Import Expo last night. The speech was extensively followed around the world and received warm response. Can you tell us more about it?

汪文斌：昨天，習(xí)近平主席在第四屆中國國際進(jìn)口博覽會開幕式上發(fā)表主旨演講，指出開放是當(dāng)代中國的鮮明標(biāo)識。中國加入世界貿(mào)易組織以來的20年，是中國深化改革、全面開放的20年，是中國把握機(jī)遇、迎接挑戰(zhàn)的20年，是中國主動擔(dān)責(zé)、造福世界的20年。習(xí)近平主席強(qiáng)調(diào)，中國擴(kuò)大高水平開放的決心不會變，同世界分享發(fā)展機(jī)遇的決心不會變，推動經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化朝著更加開放、包容、普惠、平衡、共贏方向發(fā)展的決心不會變。中國將堅定不移維護(hù)真正的多邊主義，堅定不移同世界共享市場機(jī)遇，堅定不移推動高水平開放，堅定不移維護(hù)世界共同利益。

Wang Wenbin: Yesterday, President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE), in which he pointed out that opening up is the hallmark of contemporary China. The past 20 years since China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) have witnessed a China deepening reform and pursuing all-round opening up, a China seizing opportunities and rising to challenges, and a China stepping up to its responsibilities and benefiting the whole world. President Xi stressed that we will not change our resolve to open wider at a high standard; we will not change our determination to share development opportunities with the rest of the world; and we will not change our commitment to an economic globalization that is more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial for all. China will firmly safeguard true multilateralism, share market opportunities with the rest of the world, promote high-standard opening up and uphold the common interests of the world.

習(xí)近平主席的主旨演講受到國際社會的高度關(guān)注。各方普遍表示深刻感受到中國堅定不移全面擴(kuò)大開放的決心，更加堅定了繼續(xù)扎根中國的信心，也進(jìn)一步激發(fā)了同中方擴(kuò)大合作實現(xiàn)共贏的雄心。

President Xi's keynote speech received great attention from the international community. Various sides have said that they feel deeply China's unswerving resolve to advance all-round opening up in the speech, which boosted their confidence of taking roots in China, and bolstered their ambition of expanding the win-win cooperation with China.

中國歷來言必信、行必果。習(xí)近平主席在第三屆進(jìn)博會上宣布的擴(kuò)大開放舉措已經(jīng)基本落實。今年前三季度，中國進(jìn)口近2萬億美元，同比增長32.6%，規(guī)模創(chuàng)歷史新高。據(jù)世貿(mào)組織最新數(shù)據(jù)，今年上半年中國進(jìn)口國際市場份額同比提升0.7個百分點(diǎn)，達(dá)12%，貢獻(xiàn)了全球15%的進(jìn)口增量。中方將扎實落實習(xí)近平主席在第四屆進(jìn)博會上宣布的擴(kuò)大進(jìn)口、推動高水平開放的一系列新舉措，同各國一道共建開放型世界經(jīng)濟(jì)，讓開放的春風(fēng)溫暖世界。

China is a firm believer in honoring its words with actions. The measures announced at the third CIIE for further opening up have mostly been implemented. In the first three quarters of 2021, China's import totaled nearly two trillion dollars, which is an increase of 32.6 percent year-on-year and a record high. According to the latest WTO data, in the first half of the year, China's international market share of imports increased by 0.7 percentage points to 12 percent year-on-year, contributing 15 percent of the global import increment. China will earnestly implement the host of new measures announced by President Xi Jinping at the fourth CIIE for improving imports and promoting high-standard opening up. China stands ready to work with all countries to build an open world economy so that the spring breeze of openness will bring warmth to all parts of the world.

CCTV: Senegalese Foreign Minister Aissata Tall Sall announced at a press conference yesterday that the eighth Ministerial Conference of the FOCAC will be held in Dakar, Senegal on November 29 and 30. Could you share more details with us?

汪文斌：正如你剛才所提到的，中非合作論壇第八屆部長級會議將于11月29日至30日在論壇非方共同主席國塞內(nèi)加爾首都達(dá)喀爾舉行。本屆會議主題是“深化中非伙伴合作，促進(jìn)可持續(xù)發(fā)展，構(gòu)建新時代中非命運(yùn)共同體”。會議將評估2018年論壇北京峰會后續(xù)成果落實和中非團(tuán)結(jié)抗疫情況，規(guī)劃未來三年及更長一段時間中非關(guān)系發(fā)展方向。

Wang Wenbin: As you said, the eighth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will be held on November 29 and 30 in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, the African co-chair of FOCAC. With the theme of "Deepen China-Africa Partnership and Promote Sustainable Development to Build a China-Africa Community with a Shared Future in the New Era", the conference will review and assess the follow-up implementation of the outcomes of the 2018 FOCAC Beijing Summit as well as the joint China-Africa response to COVID-19, and chart the course for China-Africa relations for the next three years and more to come.

中非合作論壇是中非間開展集體對話的重要平臺和務(wù)實合作的有效機(jī)制。成立21年來，論壇引領(lǐng)國際對非合作潮流，已成為南南合作的“金字招牌”。面對百年變局和世紀(jì)疫情，論壇55個成員方克服困難，再次齊聚一堂，共商中非友好合作大計，規(guī)劃中非合作新藍(lán)圖，將為推動中非全面戰(zhàn)略合作伙伴關(guān)系發(fā)展注入新動力，為維護(hù)發(fā)展中國家整體利益、推動后疫情時代世界和平穩(wěn)定和發(fā)展繁榮作出新的貢獻(xiàn)。

FOCAC is an important platform for collective dialogue and effective mechanism for practical cooperation between China and Africa. Since its inception 21 years ago, FOCAC has spearheaded international cooperation with Africa and become a golden brand for South-South cooperation. In the face of changes and a global pandemic unseen in a century, all 55 FOCAC members will overcome difficulties to gather together and discuss plans for friendly cooperation and draw a new blueprint for future cooperation. This will inject new impetus into the China-Africa comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership and make new contributions to upholding the overall interests of developing countries and advancing world peace, stability, development and prosperity in a post-COVID era.

澎湃新聞記者：近日，加中貿(mào)易理事會(CCBC)發(fā)布了《中國對加拿大的經(jīng)濟(jì)影響：貿(mào)易、投資與移民》和《2020/2021加中商業(yè)調(diào)查》兩份報告。報告認(rèn)為，加拿大經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展與中國息息相關(guān)，加中經(jīng)濟(jì)關(guān)系是兩國關(guān)系的強(qiáng)勁紐帶和發(fā)展契機(jī)，兩國未來密不可分。請問中方對此有何評論?

The Paper: The Canada China Business Council recently released two reports, namely "China's Economic Impact on Canada: Trade, Investment, and Immigration" and results from the "2020-2021 Canada-China Business Survey". The reports concluded that China has a significant impact on Canada's economic development; "the story of the Canada-China economic relationship is one of strong ties and promising opportunities"; and "Canada's and China's futures are inextricably linked". Does the Chinese side have any comment on this?

汪文斌：我注意到加中貿(mào)易理事會發(fā)布的報告。在受訪加拿大企業(yè)中，近七成將中國作為其全球發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略中的首要目標(biāo)或前五大目標(biāo)市場，超過半數(shù)計劃拓展對華業(yè)務(wù)。盡管受到新冠肺炎疫情沖擊，仍有49%的加拿大企業(yè)在華業(yè)務(wù)實現(xiàn)盈利。這些數(shù)字反映出加拿大工商界對中國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展前景、營商環(huán)境的信心和期待，也表明了中加經(jīng)貿(mào)合作的韌性和潛力。

Wang Wenbin: I have taken note of the reports released by the Canada China Business Council. Nearly 70 percent of surveyed Canadian firms see China as the top priority or among the top five priorities in their global strategic plan. More than half plan to expand their business in China. Despite the impact of COVID-19, 49 percent indicated they were profitable in China. These figures reflect the Canadian business community's confidence in and positive outlook on China's economic prospects and business environment, and demonstrate the resilience and potential of China-Canada economic and trade cooperation.

事實證明，中加經(jīng)貿(mào)合作的本質(zhì)是互利共贏，為兩國人民帶來了實實在在的好處。我們歡迎加拿大投資者來華投資興業(yè)，也希望加方同中方相向而行，為兩國經(jīng)貿(mào)合作營造良好的政治氛圍，并為中國企業(yè)在加投資經(jīng)營提供公平、公正、開放、非歧視的營商環(huán)境。

As has been proven by facts, economic and trade cooperation between China and Canada is mutually-beneficial and has delivered tangible benefits to both peoples. We welcome Canadian investors to seek business opportunities in China. We also hope that the Canadian side will work in the same direction with China to foster favorable political atmosphere for bilateral economic and trade cooperation and provide a fair, just, open and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies to invest and operate in Canada.

《南華早報》記者：第一個問題，據(jù)美媒POLITICO網(wǎng)站報道，在中美領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人可能即將舉行的會晤期間，雙方有可能宣布重開總領(lǐng)館、放寬簽證限制等緩和雙邊關(guān)系緊張態(tài)勢的政策。中方對此有何評論?第二個問題，美國海軍昨天宣布，解除之前發(fā)生撞擊事件的“康涅狄格”號核潛艇上3人的職務(wù)，其中包括兩名指揮官。中方對此有何評論?

South China Morning Post: According to US media Politico, agreements on reopening consulates general and easing visa restrictions will likely be announced to defuse tensions in bilateral relations at a propable summit between Chinese and US leaders. What's your response to this? Second, the US Navy yesterday fired three officers, including two command leaders, who were aboard the nuclear submarine USS Connecticut, which had a collision accident. Do you have any comment?

汪文斌：首先回答你的第一個問題。我注意到美國媒體有關(guān)猜測性報道，目前沒有可以提供的消息。作為原則，我想強(qiáng)調(diào)，美國上屆政府單方面挑起很多事端，嚴(yán)重破壞了中美關(guān)系。中方已經(jīng)作出正當(dāng)、必要反應(yīng)。我們希望美方糾正錯誤，同中方相向而行，推動中美關(guān)系盡早重回穩(wěn)定發(fā)展的正確軌道。

Wang Wenbin: To answer your first question, I've noticed the speculative reports by US media. I have no information to release at this moment. I would like to stress in principle that the many incidents unilaterally provoked by the previous US administration gravely undermined China-US relations. The Chinese side has made legitimate and necessary responses to them. We hope the US side will redress its mistakes and work in the same direction with China to bring bilateral relations back onto the right track of steady development as soon as possible.

關(guān)于第二個問題，我們再次敦促美方詳細(xì)說明事故有關(guān)情況，充分回應(yīng)地區(qū)國家關(guān)切和疑慮。關(guān)鍵是要停止四處滋事挑釁，炫耀武力，停止損害別國主權(quán)安全的行徑。

On your second question, we once again urge the US side to give a detailed account of the incident and fully address regional countries' concerns and doubts. The key is to stop making waves, provoking trouble and flexing muscles all around the world and stop undermining other countries' sovereignty and security.

日本廣播協(xié)會記者：今天，一艘德國海軍護(hù)衛(wèi)艦已經(jīng)抵達(dá)日本。抵達(dá)日本前，這艘德國護(hù)衛(wèi)艦已同日本海上自衛(wèi)隊的艦艇開展了聯(lián)合演習(xí)。中方對此有何看法?

NHK: A German navy frigate docked in Japan today. The frigate had conducted joint training with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force before arriving in Japan. Do you have any comment?

汪文斌：我注意到有關(guān)報道。有關(guān)國家開展包括防務(wù)領(lǐng)域在內(nèi)的任何合作，應(yīng)有利于增進(jìn)地區(qū)國家間相互信任、促進(jìn)地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定和發(fā)展，而不是相反。

Wang Wenbin: I've noted relevant reports. Any cooperation between the countries concerned including in defense should be conducive to enhancing mutual trust between regional countries and promoting peace, stability and development in the region, not the opposite.

Bloomberg: I have a question about President Xi Jinping's comments last night. He said that China will take an active and open attitude to talk about issues like digital economy, trade, environment, industrial subsidies and SOEs. The industrial subsidies and SOEs topics are two which the US has raised with China, and also areas of interests from the CPTPP countries. Is this an offer from China to meet or to discuss those issues with those countries? Will there be anything more coming on this topic?

汪文斌：我剛才已經(jīng)給大家介紹了，習(xí)近平主席昨天在第四屆中國國際進(jìn)口博覽會開幕式上強(qiáng)調(diào)，中國擴(kuò)大高水平開放的決心不會變，同世界分享發(fā)展機(jī)遇的決心不會變。習(xí)主席也在演講中指出，中國將深度參與綠色低碳、數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)等國際合作，積極推進(jìn)加入《全面與進(jìn)步跨太平洋伙伴關(guān)系協(xié)定》、《數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)伙伴關(guān)系協(xié)定》。這些都表明，中方在擴(kuò)大對外開放、維護(hù)多邊貿(mào)易體制、推動區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化以及建設(shè)開放型世界經(jīng)濟(jì)方面的立場是堅定不移、一以貫之的。

Wang Wenbin: As I just said, President Xi Jinping stressed in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the fourth China International Import Expo yesterday that we will not change our resolve to open wider at a high standard or our determination to share development opportunities with the rest of the world. He pointed out that China will deeply engage in international cooperation on green and low-carbon development and the digital economy, and work actively for joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA). All this shows that China's position is firm and consistent on opening wider, upholding multilateral trading system, promoting regional economic integration and building an open world economy.

香港中評社記者：11月4日，中國政府中東問題特使翟雋同蘇丹外交事務(wù)負(fù)責(zé)人薩迪克通電話，就中蘇關(guān)系和蘇丹局勢最新進(jìn)展交換看法。另據(jù)消息人士稱，蘇丹國內(nèi)各派正進(jìn)行協(xié)商對話并取得進(jìn)展，新的過渡權(quán)力機(jī)構(gòu)有望在24小時內(nèi)成立。中方對此有何評論?

China Review News: On November 4, Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government for the Middle East, exchanged views with Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, head of foreign affairs of Sudan, on bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Sudanese situation during a telephone conversation. Some sources say parties in Sudan are making progress in consultation and dialogue and a new transitional authority is likely to take shape in 24 hours. Does China have any comment on this?

汪文斌：昨天，中國政府中東問題特使翟雋同蘇丹外交事務(wù)臨時負(fù)責(zé)人薩迪克通電話，呼吁蘇丹各派以人民利益為重，通過對話協(xié)商解決分歧，共同推進(jìn)政治過渡。翟雋強(qiáng)調(diào)，中方反對外部勢力干涉蘇丹內(nèi)政，支持蘇丹有關(guān)各方在《憲法宣言》和《朱巴和平協(xié)議》框架下傾聽并照顧彼此關(guān)切，捐棄前嫌，凝聚共識，為下階段推進(jìn)政治過渡奠定牢固基礎(chǔ)。中方呼吁國際社會為蘇丹政治過渡提供更多幫助和支持，注入“正能量”。

Wang Wenbin: Yesterday Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government for the Middle East, spoke on the phone with Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, who is temporarily in charge of Sudan's foreign affairs. Zhai called on parties in Sudan to put people's interests first, resolve differences through dialogue and consultation and jointly advance the political transition. He stressed that China opposes external interference in Sudan's internal affairs and supports Sudanese parties in listening to and accommodating each other's concerns under the framework of the Constitutional Declaration and the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan, bury the hatchet, build consensus, and lay a solid foundation for advancing the political transition process in the next stage. China calls on the international community to provide more support, assistance and positive energy for Sudan's political transition.

薩迪克感謝中方一貫秉持客觀公正立場，為推動蘇丹政治過渡進(jìn)程和經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展提供寶貴支持。薩迪克說，蘇方高度重視中方對妥善處理當(dāng)前蘇丹局勢的意見，希望中方繼續(xù)在蘇丹問題上發(fā)揮積極作用。

Sadiq thanked China for its consistent, objective and just position and valuable support for Sudan's political transition and socioeconomic development. He said that the Sudanese side attaches high importance to China's suggestions on properly handling the current situation in Sudan and hopes that China will continue to play an active role on the Sudanese issue.

中方注意到關(guān)于蘇丹國內(nèi)各派協(xié)商對話取得積極進(jìn)展的報道。正如翟雋特使所說，中方希望蘇丹保持和平穩(wěn)定，呼吁蘇丹有關(guān)各方通過對話妥善解決分歧，支持蘇丹人民自主解決蘇丹問題，相信蘇方有智慧、有能力處理好內(nèi)部事務(wù)。

We have noted reports on the positive progress in consultation and dialogue by parties in Sudan. Just as Special Envoy Zhai said, we hope Sudan will maintain peace and stability, call on the parties concerned to properly resolve differences through dialogue and support the Sudanese people in independently resolving the Sudanese issue. We believe the Sudanese side has the wisdom and capability to properly handle domestic affairs.

澳亞衛(wèi)視記者：美國白宮副新聞秘書皮埃爾稱，查清新冠病毒源頭極其重要，美和伙伴將繼續(xù)敦促中國展現(xiàn)透明度。請問中方對此有何評論?

MASTV: White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that "it's incredibly important for us to get to the bottom" of COVID-19's origins. She added that "we and our partners will continue to press for transparency and answers from the PRC." Do you have any comment?

汪文斌：中方始終秉持科學(xué)、開放、透明原則參與全球溯源科學(xué)合作，已經(jīng)兩次邀請世衛(wèi)組織專家來華開展溯源研究。中國—世衛(wèi)組織溯源聯(lián)合研究報告得出了權(quán)威、專業(yè)和科學(xué)的結(jié)論，為下階段全球科學(xué)溯源奠定了良好基礎(chǔ)。

Wang Wenbin: Acting on the principles of science, openness and transparency, we have participated in global origins-tracing cooperation and twice invited WHO experts to China for origins tracing research. The report of the joint WHO-China study of origins of SARS-CoV-2 contains authoritative, professional and science-based conclusions. It has laid a good foundation for international cooperation on origins tracing.

美方不看事實，不講科學(xué)，將抗疫政治化在前，動用情報部門搞所謂溯源調(diào)查在后。美方的政治操弄行徑不僅嚴(yán)重影響了自身抗疫，讓美國民眾付出了慘痛代價，也嚴(yán)重破壞國際抗疫合作，嚴(yán)重干擾全球科學(xué)溯源，遭到國際社會的普遍反對。

The US turns a blind eye to facts and science and has politicized COVID-19 response and then resorted to intelligence community-led origins tracing. The US politicization has not only hobbled its domestic response with Americans paying a heavy price, but also severely undermined international anti-pandemic cooperation and disrupted global scientific cooperation on origins-tracing. It has been met with widespread opposition from the international community.

我們再次敦促美方停止政治操弄，回到團(tuán)結(jié)抗疫和科學(xué)溯源的正道上來。希望美方也能像中方一樣展現(xiàn)透明度，盡快同世衛(wèi)組織開展溯源研究合作，及時回應(yīng)國際社會對美國內(nèi)病毒源頭的合理關(guān)切，就叫停美國內(nèi)血液檢測溯源項目作出解釋，開放德特里克堡生物實驗室和北卡羅來納大學(xué)供世衛(wèi)組織專家進(jìn)行溯源研究。

We again urge the US to stop political manipulation and return to the right track of solidarity against COVID-19 and science-based origins tracing. We hope that the US will also show transparency as China does, conduct cooperation on origins-tracing research with the WHO as soon as possible, respond to the international community's legitimate concerns over the COVID-19 origins in the US in a timely manner, provide explanations for halting an origin-tracing project involving blood samples testing at home, open up bio-labs at Fort Detrick and the University of North Carolina to WHO experts working on origins-tracing research.

彭博社記者：香港外國記者協(xié)會今天發(fā)布報告稱，協(xié)會近一半記者考慮離開香港，僅有一半記者表示，明白香港特區(qū)政府所指的“報道紅線”在哪里。你對此有何回應(yīng)?是否認(rèn)為特區(qū)政府應(yīng)該更清楚地劃定“報道紅線”?

Bloomberg: Foreign Correspondents' Club Hong Kong put out a report this morning, saying that nearly half of their members are considering leaving and only about half of them said they understand where the Hong Kong government's redlines on reporting were. What is your response to the report? Do you think the government of Hong Kong should be clearer about its redlines on reporting?

汪文斌：首先，我想告訴你的一點(diǎn)是，外國在港媒體和記者，只要遵守法律、依法依規(guī)地進(jìn)行報道，各項合法權(quán)利都會得到充分保障。

Wang Wenbin: I want to point out first that the legitimate rights and interests of foreign media and journalists in Hong Kong are fully protected as long as they abide by laws and produce reporting in accordance with laws and regulations.

你提到一些數(shù)字，我也有一些數(shù)字可以告訴你。截至2021年4月，駐港外國媒體共有628名持工作簽證的外籍員工，數(shù)量較去年同期增加了98人，增幅達(dá)18.5%。我想數(shù)字不會說謊，也真實反映了各界人士，包括在港的外國媒體，對香港經(jīng)濟(jì)社會及媒體報道環(huán)境的看法和感受。你是彭博社的記者。一年來，彭博社一家在香港就增加了55名外籍員工，這很能說明問題。我要強(qiáng)調(diào)的是，香港國安法制定實施以來，香港民眾的各項合法權(quán)利和自由得到了更好的保障，香港廣大市民和國際投資者，包括在香港從事各行各業(yè)工作的人士也都感受到了香港的嶄新面貌，對香港的未來更加充滿信心。

With regard to what you mentioned, I would like to share some numbers with you. As of April 2021, there are 628 foreign employees holding work visas working with foreign media outlets in Hong Kong, which is an increase of 98 people or 18.5 percent year-on-year. These numbers don't lie. They are a faithful reflection of the views on and perception of Hong Kong's socioeconomic and reporting environment of people from all walks of life including the press sector.During the past year, Bloomberg, the agency you work with, added 55 foreign employees alone. That speaks volumes. I would like to stress that since the promulgation and implementation of the Hong Kong national security law, Hong Kong people's rights and freedoms have received better protection, and Hong Kong citizens, international investors and people working in various sectors have all witnessed a brand new Hong Kong and become more confident in its future.

Shenzhen TV: US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said on November 4 that the US urges China "not to limit freedom of movement and access for journalists, and to ensure that they remain safe and able to report freely, including at the Olympic and the Paralympic Games". Do you have any response?

汪文斌：北京冬奧會秉持開放辦奧理念，從籌辦伊始就一直歡迎各國媒體關(guān)注、報道北京冬奧會和冬殘奧會。

Wang Wenbin: Committed to hosting an open Olympic event, Beijing 2022 has been welcoming media outlets from all countries to follow and cover the Olympic and Paralympic Games since preparation work began.

籌辦以來，為給媒體提供良好的服務(wù)，北京冬奧組委通過邀請駐京境外媒體參加集體采訪、媒體沙龍、新聞發(fā)布會、聯(lián)誼活動、“相約北京”測試活動以及推送冬奧信息快訊等多種形式，及時向各國媒體介紹北京冬奧會的籌辦情況。

To provide optimal service to media outlets from all countries, the Beijing Organizing Committee has offered timely updates on preparation work by various means such as inviting resident foreign media in Beijing to group interviews, media saloons, press conferences, networking events and Experience Beijing test events as well as sending out Newsletter.

我們歡迎各國媒體采訪北京冬奧會和冬殘奧會。目前，已有超2500名文字和記者提交了北京冬奧會的注冊申請。在此，我們重申，在遵守中國相關(guān)法律、法規(guī)和防疫政策的前提下，所有外國注冊媒體記者都可以在中國境內(nèi)采訪報道北京冬奧會和冬殘奧會及相關(guān)事項。北京冬奧組委將依據(jù)主辦城市協(xié)議和中國相關(guān)政策保障媒體記者的報道自由。我們也將一如既往地為外國媒體記者在華報道提供便利和幫助。

Media outlets from all countries are welcome to cover the Olympic and Paralympic Games in China. To date, more than 2,500 journalists and photographers have submitted application to register for the Games. We would like to reiterate that on the premise of complying with relevant Chinese laws, regulations and COVID-19 policies, all journalists from registered foreign media outlets can cover the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as relevant events in China. The Beijing Organizing Committee will ensure journalists' freedom of reporting according to the Host City Contract and relevant Chinese policies. We will continue to provide convenience and assistance to foreign media journalists' work in China.

我們非常歡迎媒體記者對北京冬奧會的場館建設(shè)、賽事組織、運(yùn)行保障等相關(guān)工作進(jìn)行報道，并對籌辦工作開展輿論監(jiān)督，這有助于我們不斷提高賽事組織和運(yùn)行能力。但是，我們堅決反對將體育政治化，反對針對中國的強(qiáng)烈意識形態(tài)偏見，反對以所謂的新聞自由名義編造虛假新聞、虛假信息歪曲抹黑中國和北京冬奧會。

Journalists are very welcome to report on the construction of venues and stadiums, events organization, logistics and other aspects of the preparation work for the Beijing Winter Games as a form of public supervision. This can offer us inspirations to constantly improve events organization and operation. However, we firmly oppose politicization of sports, oppose strong ideological bias against China, and oppose distorting and smearing China and the Beijing Winter Games with fake news and disinformation in the name of press freedom.

我們敦促美方從尊重奧林匹克精神、促進(jìn)奧林匹克運(yùn)動發(fā)展、維護(hù)包括美國在內(nèi)的各國運(yùn)動員利益出發(fā)，踐行“更團(tuán)結(jié)”的奧林匹克格言，停止發(fā)表不負(fù)責(zé)任的言論。

We urge the US to respect the Olympic spirit, act on the Olympic motto of "together" and stop making irresponsible remarks for the sake of advancing the Olympic movement and protecting the interests of all athletes, including those from the US.
